In 2004, Yang Lin set out to create his own line of high quality furniture made of solid bamboo, the planet’s most eco-friendly, rapidly renewable resource. He strives to ensure that his products represent quality, style and elegance; that’s why he only uses the best materials and works with only the best craftsmen. Extremely strong and durable, the exotic bamboo used is 100% harder than red oak wood. Focused on sustainability, each bamboo culm used in production is individually selected by the local farmer and harvested by hand. This preserves the ecosystem of the native bamboo forest, and leaves the bamboo root system intact, from which new bamboo shoots will emerge and grow the following year. Even more, the entire bamboo culm is used in the manufacturing process, wasting nothing.
